Trainer Blog: IFS lead trainer planning

For the next couple of months I and four other trainers will be working on an IFS training project focusing on the HR, sales, contracts, supply chain management and field operations workstreams. For this project I will be engaged as the lead trainer as well as developing materials for three of the workstreams.

At the start of the week I was able to refamiliarise myself with the project, system and workstream. I then travelled to the client site in order to verify the course content as there were ongoing business and system changes from when the RapidScope was initially written. I met with each workstream leader, updated the course outlines and then communicated any changes back to the team. As lead trainer I also needed to; book the team’s knowledge transfer meetings, arrange remote access to IFS, and facilitate other training logistics.
