Trainer Blog: Unit4 ERP training for intergovernmental organisation

I have recently been engaged on a project where Optimum was selected as a training partner for the implementation of Unit4 ERP at an intergovernmental organisation based in Europe.

For this engagement we worked remotely to produce training materials, utilising Optimum’s remote working model, which involved video conferencing to conduct meetings with subject matter experts at the organisation. These meetings are known as Knowledge Transfers, or KTs for short. The purpose of a KT is for us to gain an understanding of the system, business processes, and best practice messages that need to be conveyed in the training materials.

I have produced a reference guide, trainer pack, and eLearning materials, all customised to the specific HR business processes and end-user audiences within the organisation. This approach has enabled the organisation to capture the complexity of six different resource types, all of which have different entitlements and benefits, in easy-to-understand Unit4 ERP training documentation.

Once the training materials have been completed for all of the workstreams, we’ll return to the headquarters in Western Europe to deliver the classroom training sessions prior to go-live.
