The Switch to D365 Business Central

The Directions EMEA conference, taking place from 9-11 October in Vienna, will showcase the autumn release of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV) and will support partners in their transition to the new technology.

The complete switch to a modern browser-based client and the new development platform based on Visual Studio code and AL as a programming language is a natural evolution for Business Central in the cloud. Customers will be able to try Business Central and new addons in AppSource and eventually buy them via a consumption-based subscription.

Microsoft continues to provide tools and programmes to support the transition – all of which are available via the Directions Community which enables the sharing of experiences, best practices and an ability to grow together. The Directions EMEA Conference is where everyone gets together and goes a step further.

Previous Directions conference, in EMEA, Asia and North America, provided forums for discussions about and preparing for the future of Dynamics NAV and its evolution into Dynamics 365 Business Central including on-premises, cloud and hybrid versions. Now Dynamics 365 Business Central is here and it is really happening – Microsoft and its partners are executing and accelerating into the cloud, while continuing to share, learn and improve in the Directions Community.
