The course begins with an overview of UAT, explaining the purpose of testing, the role of the tester, and why well-written scripts are essential for quality, consistency, and auditability. Writing style: imperative, concise, and unambiguous; Referencing fields, buttons, and system actions consistently; Avoiding assumptions, jargon, and missing steps; Capturing navigation (menu path, workspace, form); Including expected results in measurable terms (status changes, document numbers, validation messages); When to include screenshots and when not to.

How to record Pass/Fail Result; When to raise a defect; how to reference it; What qualifies as a functional issue vs. tester error.
