Project Detail

Nomad Foods recently selected ERP training consultancy Optimum to develop a user training programme for a firm acquired by one of the world’s largest frozen food providers.

The primary objective was to enable a smooth transition to a new ERP system, SAP S/4HANA.

The brief was to create a comprehensive role-based course with a full suite of supporting content. Subsequently, the firm’s super users delivered in-house training, with materials produced to be translated and presented in German.

“We were thrilled with the outcome provided to Nomad Foods. It was a challenging ERP project, but our experienced team excelled in delivering another excellent training programme.”

Joanne Harrison, Optimum Sales Director

Initially, it was key to ensure that the super users were fully prepared for their internal instruction. Subsequently, all end users received job specific teaching ready for go live.

Optimum first scoped the project and carried out knowledge transfer sessions with the business process experts of the parent group. The consultants created a range of resources, including detailed reference guides, quick cards on important processes for light users, and comprehensive toolkits.

The courses and materials have since acted as a ‘business-as-usual’ induction solution for new joiners to the firm. Additionally, they have since provided a template for other newly-acquired companies that adopted the group-wide SAP S/4HANA system.
