Optimum has developed an Oracle ERP end user training programme for a firm recently acquired by one of the world’s largest frozen food providers to enable a smooth transition to the group’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system.

Optimum’s brief was to create a comprehensive role-based user training programme, with a full suite of supporting materials and then to prepare the firm’s super users to deliver the Oracle ERP training in-house. All the courses and documentation were designed to be translated into and presented in German.

The programme objectives were to ensure that the super users were fully prepared for the Fusion Cloud User Acceptance Testing phase and then that all end users would have received job specific system training ready for go live in the summer of 2022.

Optimum first scoped the project and carried out knowledge transfer sessions with the business process experts of the parent group via WebEx. The consultants created a range of training materials, including detailed reference guides, a series of quick cards on key processes for light users of the system and trainer toolkits.

Optimum’s courses and materials will also act as a ‘business-as-usual’ training solution for new joiners at the firm. In addition, they will provide a training template for other newly acquired companies that will need to adopt the group-wide Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP system.
