Optimum has been chosen as the global training partner for Domino Printing Services’ transition to Oracle Fusion Cloud Application Suite (Fusion).
An autonomous division of Brother Industries, Domino Printing Sciences (Domino) provides coding, marking and digital printing technologies and services. Based in the UK, they operate in over 100 countries globally.
Domino has used a thoroughly customised version of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) as its legacy system. With the modern climate demanding quality data and greater efficiency, EBS is no longer fit for the company’s evolving needs, so the decision was taken to replace this legacy system with Fusion. It is critical Domino employees can operate the new system efficiently and accurately at go-live and beyond.

As with all ERP programmes, change and training is key. Quality training minimises fear of what the new solution means to employees, and also provides them with the skills and knowledge to operate effectively.
Steps have already been taken to ensure a smooth transition for the first site to go-live, this includes planning and developing job specific, bespoke training for the different audiences, covering both the functional steps and processes.
The development of a tailored solution and a global end user training template will help ensure the key changes across the businesses are consistent. A blended learning solution with bespoke supporting materials will be developed and then localised for each channel, site or business and be adopted by all channels and sites before going live.
