Barnardo’s is the children’s charity with the largest number of services on the ground in the UK. The non-profit connects hundreds of thousands of families and children in need with valuable social services each year.
To best make those connections, Barnardo’s must ensure that employees have the technology they need to work efficiently and accurately.

With the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Finance & Operations, and HR, the Barnardo’s user communities will be provided with an up-to-date ERP solution with cutting edge functionality which can support centralised, consistent processes, whilst always providing real-time reporting and data.
The programme will transform the charity and enable staff to focus on the core mission of supporting vulnerable children and young people.
As with all ERP programmes, change and training is key, alleviating any fear of what the new solution will mean to the employees, as well as providing them with the skills and knowledge to use the new system and processes.
To support the user adoption phase, Optimum was appointed to develop a bespoke training solution to ensure the key changes across the charity were understood correctly.
Optimum developed a blended learning solution with bespoke supporting materials to assist the internal team in cascading training consistently across the organisation.
