Our ERP training planning exercise is designed to scope the full user adoption phase, providing a clear and actionable plan with allocated resources for both the development and delivery stages. The resulting report outlines the content for each training session, session durations, supporting materials, the geographical distribution of users, and the logistics for bringing them together for training.
This exercise ensures a final agreement on the total number of development days, which can then be scheduled and tracked, minimising the risk of time and budget overruns. The planning is led by one of Optimum’s Senior Consultants, taking approximately 6-15 days depending on project size. During this time, the Consultant will hold brief meetings with each of the client’s subject matter experts or workstream leads to gather key information.
The outcome is a comprehensive report, serving as a roadmap for the end-user training phase, complete with detailed course content, deliverables, timelines, and associated costs for all role groups. Additionally, a course deliverables catalogue accompanies the report. This phase can begin once the business processes have been defined.
