A renowned central London fashion and homewares retailer turned to the specialist IT training consultancy, Optimum, to design, develop and deliver end-user training courses to support its deployment of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

The company originally planned to use its own internal resources to handle the training programme but underestimated both the time and skillset required to develop effective end-user training. It also recognised that appointing a professional ERP training consultancy would free up its in-house team to concentrate on delivering the core project on time and on budget.

Optimum developed a series of end-user focused, role-based courses including business processes for buying and merchandising, customer services, warehousing and web users. The consultancy also created detailed user reference materials which can be used to support day-to-day needs and future development of the system. Following go-live, Optimum was invited back to update the documentation and deliver a new course developed for the opening of a new UK warehouse facility.
