Struggling to resource your business systems training in-house?
As part of cost-cutting strategies and financial pressures, an increasing number of organisations are outsourcing their IT and systems training requirements as a result of in-house staff reductions.
Optimum has been supporting many organisations, both in the private and public sectors, by providing training solutions for users of enterprise application software. This means that end-users still get the opportunity to improve their systems skills whilst organisations can continue to realise the cost-saving benefits from their investment in technology. Some our of most recent outsourcing contracts are detailed below.
Public sector: In order to meet efficiency targets and to make the most of its investment in IT systems, a London council has chosen to outsource its procurement system training requirements to Optimum. In a 12 month agreement, our training consultants are delivering classroom sessions and workshops on a monthly basis, for both business-as-usual training and new joiner or refresher learning. This has allowed the council to maintain consistency in the training received by end-users, and ensures that any new members of staff can use the systems as effectively as existing users.
Private sector: Optimum has worked with a London-based insurance broker for over 6 years as the training provider for all their internal IT systems training needs, with many of our consultants based at their offices several days a week. The requirements have included Microsoft Office training for those upgrading to the 2007 version, and training delivery to ensure users adopt new processes as they move to a new electronic document management and policy tracking system.
