The administration of the instructor-led element of the training programme can be a substantial amount of work, but Optimum’s administration service can take this headache away and ensure effective take-up of classroom courses.
Using a bespoke database application, dedicated email address and telephone number, we schedule courses, invite delegates, answer queries by phone and email, reschedule sessions, send reminders and joining instructions, and give you regular reports on attendance and take-up. In this way we can help maximize the value of training by ensuring that courses are fully attended.

UAT is the stage in the project in which real users get to see the system for the first time. It is important that this is a positive experience for those involved, as it sets the tone for the general acceptance of the system throughout the organisation, and also that the tests are realistic and reflect the solution design.
Optimum offers three levels of UAT support, based on:
- A UAT methodology, customised to your requirements, and training in its application
- Development of UAT scripts, recording tools and mappings to the Solution Design for proof of testing
- Basic training in the use of the new system: navigation, workflow concepts, transaction entry screens and so on, so that testers can be sure that any problems they encounter are system problems and not user problems.
Communication strategies within large IT projects often focus on the project and those directly involved. However, effective communication aimed at users can help prepare users for new business processes and new systems, ensuring both more effective learning and better system adoption.
Optimum’s communication solutions focus on the needs of the end user, making sure they get the right information at effective and strategic points throughout the project. This methodology focuses on early inclusion of staff to ensure they feel involved and informed throughout, using a variety of communication methods to keep interest and motivation high and to counter any negative attitudes.
Optimum’s user communication services consists of two main elements:
Development of a communications plan, consisting of:
- Stakeholder analysis
- Communications channel selection
- Communication objectives
- Communications map (plotted against the project plan) that details what communications need to be made, through which channels, to which users, at what time.
Design, development and delivery of the communications outputs which may be in the form of emails, newsletters, posters, PowerPoint presentations, roadshows and more.
